Organizations that need to file a 990 series return for the November 15th deadline include:
- Organizations whose original 990 series deadline was May 16th, but filed Form 8868 and received a 6-month extension.
- These organizations cannot file Form 8868 again. They must submit their 990 series return by midnight to avoid IRS penalties.
- Organizations whose tax years end in June.
