Form 990-PF Mailing Address

The Form 990-PF is specifically designed for private foundations to report their financial information from the tax year to the IRS. This form must be completed annually and filed no later than the 15th day of the 5th month after the close of their accounting year. For private foundations that operate on a calendar year schedule, this date is May 15, 2020.

Where Should I Mail The Form 990-PF?

This form can be mailed to one of the following addresses. Send your completed Form 990-PF to the mailing address that best applies to your private foundation’s location. 

*For private foundations located in the United States mail your Form to:

*For private foundations with their principal locations outside of the US or in a US territory, mail your Form to:

When Is E-filing My Form 990-PF Required? 

E-filing the Form 990-PF will soon be a requirement for all private foundations. This mandate will go into effect for filers with a tax year beginning on or after July 2, 2019. 

All calendar year filers that have a Form 990-PF deadline of May 15, 2020 will be able to paper file this year if needed.
