What Information is Required on Form 990-N?
Form 990-N is a simple 990 series form but there’s still a lot of information to report. Here are the 8 things you’ll need to include when you file Form 990-N for your organization:
- Employer Identification Number (EIN) or Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN). This number allows the IRS to identify your organization.
- The tax year you are filing Form 990-N to report on.
- Your organization’s legal name and mailing address.
- The name your organization goes by.
- Your principal officer’s name and address
- Your organization’s website, if you have one.
- Report that your organization’s annual gross receipts are$50,000 or less.
- If your organization is going out of business or being terminated, report that as well.
