Exempt Organization May Tax Deadline

Before we get into the fun stuff, let’s take a moment to enjoy the fact that it’s May! Summer is almost here, and even though I live in the South, summer is one of my favorite seasons. Warmer weather means outdoor concerts and that is my jam. Okay, I’ll put on my serious hat for a minute (slightly serious) to discuss a major deadline in May for Exempt Organizations.

A majority of Tax Exempt Organizations follow a calendar year for filing their taxes. This means that your Exempt Organization Income Tax Return is due May 15th. Express990.com revolutionized the way you file your Form 990 to the IRS. We even provide extension Form 8868 to extend your deadline if you need more time.
